Bright Color for High Summer

This time of the year presents the best opportunity to infuse some unexpected color into your tailored ensembles. With this in mind, we created outfits featuring strong color for different purposes during high summer.

The Smart

Men tend to choose deep red mostly for their sports cars, but it should not be the only case.
Take a standard (but sophisticated) blue blazer styling to start with. We changed the usual navy for this red cotton jacket from Partenopea for striking results. Chocolate brown is a great complimenter color to red, it makes the overall effect more understated. The outfit does not scream "I wear flaming red, look at me", instead it communicates a fresh, unique approach to tailored clothing. 
You might ask yourself: Sure, but for what occasions am I going to wear an outfit like that? In any chic environment with nice people around you, like a dinner with friends on a terrace, a cocktail party or during your holidays you will be appreciated for your effort.

In the same time, we know that the aforementioned activities don's require an umbrella to go with, but could not resist the temptation to include one of our gorgeous Mario Talaricos on the picture. Just for fun.

The Riviera

Capri, Portofino or Saint Tropez, you name it, you would not go wrong with this outfit during a louche dinner on the European coastline. The Kiton jacket is totally unconstructed, weights nothing, feels like a shirt to wear. The intense blue color of the jacket be reminiscent of the clear sky, a clear indication to where this jacket belongs in the wardrobe. The idea here is to dress for the environment you are at the moment.

The pale blue linen shirt will make you feel cool in the heat, the low contrast between jacket and shirt works nicely here, avoid wearing a white shirt, in that case, the look will feel too matchy matchy. At the same time, white trousers are undoubtedly the best pairing with the jacket. Accessories are optional, however, we like the complimentary look of the suede loafers and crocodile belt for a luxurious touch.

The Urban Wanderer

Do you like to visit treasures of urbanism while on holiday? Taking long walks to observe the landscape around you? Or just simply like to be elegant and comfortable without being fussy. Then this look should be right up your alley.

Purple is not the most prominent color for men's jackets, that one is for sure. However, the hue of this Sartoria Partenopea piece is just beautiful and wearable at the same time. It also features flapped patch pockets, inspired by functional outerwear. It also makes the jacket appropriate to it wear with trainers, which would not be possible with you normal sportcoats. Also, the pockets are great to store your passport, keys etc. The fact that it is made of pure linen makes it more than adequate for high summer weather.

As with all statement colors like purple, we recommend keeping everything else restrained. In this case, gray compliments well, while the black in the shoes and belt gives an edge to the color story.
